PitchFest: Semi-Finalist Winners Announced!

A panel of judges selected 16 semi-finalists out of more than 80 entries in the first-ever BBG PitchFest!  These semi-finalists will have an opportunity to pitch to executives at each broadcaster for final selection of at least one winner per organization.

Trending themes were: health, technology, English learning, Q&A shows, immigration/diaspora shows, short form shows with mobile-ready content, entrepreneurship, women-focused content, sports, and game shows.

We will post reviews and further information about the projects listed above soon.

Thank you to all of those who submitted their ideas to help move us forward in our mission to inform, engage, and connect with audiences around the world. The PitchFest team will be reaching out to every individual and/or team that entered and did not make it through this round.  The judges will provide specific feedback and comments to help entrants develop their ideas for the future.
